For its 10th edition on October 11th and 12th, 3D PRINT, the leading event for additive manufacturing in France, will be held for the first time at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. An intense and varied programme with live demonstrations, machines operating on the stands, workshops, original animations and conferences will enable the thousands of visitors expected to immerse themselves in the latest trends and solutions in additive manufacturing. An unprecedented edition with no less than 300 exhibitors expected and 6000 participants.
Paris Expo Portes de Versailles: 3D PRINT goes big
With its optimised architecture for the organisation of large-scale events, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is a choice venue for an international trade show like 3D PRINT. The exhibition possibilities are multiplied and make this venue perfectly adapted to the congress/exhibition format, more favourable to live demonstrations of 3D printing machines and equipment on the exhibitors’ stands.
The circular economy and sustainable development will be the central themes
3D PRINT is at the forefront of trends in its industry, and its 2023 edition will focus on sustainability and circular economy, a key challenge for the sector. The show will be an opportunity for exhibitors to reveal their innovative solutions and more virtuous alternatives. Thus, visitors will be able to take inspiration and discover the best in additive manufacturing to reduce the environmental impact, through a specific tour.
Dynamic and interactive shows on the stands will punctuate this first edition of the «Green Initiatives Tour», during which the exhibitors will share their success stories around one of the 5 sustainable aspects of additive manufacturing:
- Topological (design) optimisation /LCA improvement
- Waste and/or energy reduction
- Sustainable materials
- Digital inventory (stock)
- Spare parts and repair
Each participant in the «Green Initiatives Tour» will be identified to visitors thanks to a sticker placed on their stand.
As for the congress, it will also provide key insights and answers. Visitors will be able to take part in enriching and instructive exchanges and debates led by top speakers and recognised experts in order to better understand the new industrial challenges linked to the environment.
At the same time, the 3D PRINT organiser is also committed to limiting its environmental impact and will present its report listing the various actions taken during the event to reduce its environmental footprint.
Materials Corner, a dedicated area for materials innovation
Representing a strong vector of innovation, the materials developed for additive manufacturing now have unique properties, meeting specific market needs.
In this 2023 edition, the focus will therefore be on materials and their applications, with :
- The creation of a dedicated exhibition space (Materials Corner) where visitors will be able to live a 360° experience by discovering a large number of materials offered by exhibitors.
- Conferences and technical workshops that will allow participants to better understand the latest trends in the 3D printing materials field
- A Materials Tour to accelerate the meeting between specialized exhibitors and visitors looking for materials solutions
A larger range of exhibitors
Because additive manufacturing can revolutionise every step of a company’s production, the 3D PRINT exhibition will bring together 300 French and international exhibitors and brands representing the entire additive manufacturing value chain, from design to post-processing.
Many important players in 3D printing will be present, including many new ones.
