Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid
handling – has won an order to supply newly developed decanters for cleaning of
industrial waste water in Canada. The order value is approximately SEK 250
million, with delivery scheduled for 2013.

The order from one of the world’s leading engineering, project management and
consultancy companies, consists of specially developed Alfa Laval decanters to
be used for large wastewater reclamation operations.

“In a short period of time we have landed three large orders for these newly
developed Alfa Laval decanters. This is the biggest and confirms our strong
position as a technical solutions provider in water treatment”, says Lars
Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
