Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid
handling – has won an order in Russia to supply a complete process line for a
vegetable protein extraction plant. The order, booked in the Food Technology
segment, has a value of approximately SEK 75 million. Delivery is scheduled for
2014.
Alfa Laval will supply a complete process line for refining sunflower seed into
vegetable protein concentrate, sugar concentrate and fiber fraction. The process
line includes separation, filtration and thermal units.
