At the beginning of the 80s of the last century, few have heard of a small, family business, employing five people, including the owners. It is worth to trace the history of the company to find out the secret of the success of Jestic that became an important business partner of the largest companies in the automotive industry in just three decades.

Hard work and relevant investment decisions
It all started with a small paint shop, founded by one of the Jestic’s owner in the early 80s. of the 20th century. But after a few years, in collaboration with the owner’s brother, the company expanded its operations to plastic processing, focusing on small-scale production of car accessories such as wheel arches, mudguards and bumpers. At that time, Polish drivers started buying more and more cars. The demand for car accessories increased and Jerzy and Stefan Cykowiak tried to fit in this trend, expanding their product range. In 1986 the company bought an injection moulding machine and produced its very first hubcap. Quickly it became clear that it was an excellent decision, which determined the future development of the company. Since then the company has focused on the development of production technology, work on new models of hubcaps, expansion into new markets... The company grew very rapidly, which resulted in the transformation of the company into Jestic civil partnership in 1994. After 2000, the company’s headquarters moved from Stęszew to Krąplewo and transformed into general partnership. At this moment Jestic Sp. J. is not only one of the major manufacturers of automotive hubcaps in our country, but also a producer of other articles of plastics, an owner of two modern manufacturing facilities, 40 injection moulding machines, its own tool room, and painting lines.

Responsibility, quality and mutual trust
Analysing the history of the company’s development and decisions made by Jestic’s authorities in the past, one could say that Jestic resembles the family companies that built its brand for decades, with the help of the highest quality products and services, partner relationships with Customers and cooperators as well as individual approach to every order. Currently the company employs 275 highly qualified specialists. Jestic strives to be a good and responsible employer, and therefore endeavors to ensure that the atmosphere in the team was as good as possible. Achieving this state of affairs is not easy, especially, if we take into account the fact that Jestic’s activity is not limited to the production of hubcaps. An important product is a mushroom crate. There are many mushroom-growing cellars, hence high demand for crates. Jestic delivers its product every day to multiple recipients. The company also manufactures lawn panels and Christmas tree stands. Jestic’s product range is wide, so company’s technological facilities must be adequately developed. Many years have passed, since Jestic bought its first injection moulding machine. Today, the company owns 40 machines, tool room and painting lines. Over 30 years of activity, Jestic built new warehouses and production lines. Among the most important trading partners of the company we can find Recipients from Germany and Russia. However, we will also find Jestic’s products in Romania, France, Spain and Hungary. With the development of internet sales, Jestic reaches more Customers. No wonder that the company is thinking of expanding into new markets. It is difficult to work effectively in the European Union without adequate preparation. Therefore Jestic acquired ISO 9001 document, which enables the cooperation with European partners and the ISO 14001 certificate, which regulates business activities related to environmental protection. It is a standard in modern enterprises, characterized by a high level of business acumen.

Awards, the summary and plans for the future
Jestic’s actions did not go unnoticed in our country. The company has won many prestigious awards, including “Business Gazelles”, granted by the popular newspaper “Business Pulse”, for the most dynamically developing Polish companies, which, besides strong financial performance, also need to stay transparent and show a responsible approach not only to their basic duties, but also to the management of human potential and appropriate approach in the field of “green” production policy. The company’s representatives admit that they consider a success the fact that Jestic evolves dynamically and seeks new solutions, even though 30 years have passed since its inception. The reason for pride is without a doubt the status of the company: Jestic is still a family business, faithful to the same principles, clearly identified by the company’s owners many years ago.
